Wolfgang Liebert takes part in Talk for Future as a speaker

TU Vienna is hosting a discussion event on the topic of “Nuclear Energy and Energy Transition” on Jan. 27, 2022 from 18:00 until 19:30. The discussion event will take place online. You can participate under the following link: https://tuwien.zoom.us/j/94078202375?pwd=NDR6bFV1cVVjZ0JxYnFCQVI4QXhRdz09

Due to the discussion about the taxonomy regulation of the EU, nuclear power is again in the spotlight. Do we need it to achieve the energy transition? Can it serve as a “bridge technology”? Is it as clean as the proponents say? Should it be classified as “sustainable”?

Other participants in the event are:
Dr. Dusan Lexa, expert for nuclear reactors
Dr. Sabina Nemec-Begluk, Vienna University of Technology
DI Günter Pauritsch, Austrian Energy Agency
Dr. Michael Trupke, Austrian Academy of Sciences
Dr. Reinhard Uhrig, GLOBAL 2000
Dr. Anna Veronika Wendland, University of Marburg
