Public consultation on the Lifetime extension of the French 1300 MWe fleet
INRAG prepared an expert opinion for the French consultationprocess on the generic requirements for the operational extensionof the French 1300 MWe reactors. A key result of the work is thatthe preparation of a risk report is proposed. This report shouldshow the differences in the safety margins between the retrofitted1300 MWe reactors and the reference EPR, so that the public canbetter assess the continuing risk. The work was funded byEnvironment Agency Austria (Umweltbundesamt).
