Nuclear power & net zero: Too little, too late, too expensive.

Far from contributing to the net zero by 2050 target, the 24GW target for new nuclear power would be irrelevant for the electricity sector and would divertresources away other options such as energy efficiency and renewables, and from sectors such as iron & steel, that will be harder to decarbonise than electricity.
