Fukushima 10 years on

The anniversary of the nuclear disaster at the Fukushima nuclear power plant leads to widespread media coverage. INRAG members are quoted in various articles or participate in different events, for example:

Oda Becker, Wolfgang Liebert and Christoph Pistner are panelists at “Atomkraft 10 Jahre nach Fukushima: Bilanz und Perspektiven” hosted by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety.

Klaus Gufler, Wolfgang Liebert, Nikolaus Müllner and Wolfgang Liebert are speakers at “10 Jahre Reaktorkatastrophe Fukushima Daiichi” hosted by the Insitute for Safety/Security and Risk Sciences at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna.

Nikolaus Müllner is quoted by the Austrian press agency (apa) on the use of nuclear energy in Europe and the safety of nuclear power plants.

Christoph Pistner is quoted in an article in the Süddeutsche Zeitung on new reactor concepts promising to reduce the nuclear risk and treat radioactive waste.
